Becky Kersh

Biography:

My name is Becky Kersh and this is my third year at Mountainview Elementary.  I am beginning my twenty third year in education this year and my fifth year in Waco ISD.  I grew up in Temple, Texas and graduated from Baylor University in 2002 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education.  I taught for 9 years in the Dallas area and received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from University of North Texas.  I then served as an instructional coach for 10 years and worked towards my Administrative certificate through Lamar University.  I have been married for 16 years and I have 3 children.  When I am not at Mountainview serving our Mustangs, I am enjoying time with my family and friends and running.  

My Why: 

I believe that all students can learn no matter what background they have or limitations they face.  I desire for all students to feel valued and to grow.  Every child deserves a champion.
